Bassingbourn Snowsports Racing Team

The Centre has an active Race Team which meets on Monday nights (18:30 to 21:00) to train. It takes part in the Eastern Region Ski Association (ERSA) Summer League series, racing at other Dry Ski slopes across Eastern England

Our more experienced racers take part in National races across the UK, and at International races in Europe

Often at Easter, the Team, along with Parents and other Club Members, go to "snow" and train in the mountains with both the Club Trainers and local Alpine Coaches to improve their racing skills

Often in August (yes, the Summer!!), the younger members of the Team go to the ERSA Race Camp on the Hintertux Glacier in Austria to train alongside National Teams and to experience a real training regime.....

Tuesday candidates should be aware that in order the take part in any race, under ERSA and ESC rules, they MUST be a current member of a registered Club.  Given this national requirement, the Non-member rate would only apply for one session - after which the Non-Member would be expected to join BSC as a skiing member

 

Non member access to facility

Note that Non-members must contact the Bookings Secretary to book and pay in advance unless coming with (and travelling with) a Member.  This is necessary to arrange delivery of a Car-Pass to allow access to the site. Members pay on the night.
