Party IdeasToboggan PartiesAre you looking for an idea for your next Children's party or Birthday party? Something with lots of fun and action! Why not try a tobogganing party - sliding down the slope on sledges, and even spinning in inflatable rings. Ski PartiesMake your next party an active one, and try fun activities like skiing or boarding, we provide a 2 hour Skiing party with a qualified instructor. These are suitable for beginners or experienced skiers. If you just cannot decide, you can opt for a combined party of Skiing and Tobogganing. A function area is available for hire for you to bring a party tea. Birthday parties for all ages are welcome, as well as youth groups or even your next corporate night out! Parties are for everyone - from 2 to 99 - and they are customised for YOU
What size is a Group? For parties involving snowboarding, the maximum party size is 6, and the prices are based on 6 people attending (i.e. if there are less than 6 people, then there is not reduction in the cost). For other parties, the minimum group size is 10 people. Groups can be bigger, of course, and the number of instuctors and/or supervisors will be appropriate for the party size. Mixed abilitiesOK, but what about my Group I've only got 10 and some can ski and others
can't. And how big can my Group be?
Up to 30 people for ski, and for ski and tobogganing mix. Note that the maximum numbers in the ski groups may be reduced if people in the groups are all the same age/size due to equipment availability How does it work?
PricesThe minimum booking is for 10 people, prices below are for parties of 10
Adult supervision for under 18 groupsAn under 18's group can contain one participating Adult organiser for every 10 children - BUT that Adult is expected to help the Instructor(s) supervise the Group in respect of discipline and control.
School partiesWe know that for most school and Youth Organisation groups there is a requirement on the group leader to ask "Independent Providers Questions" prior to booking. On our Download page, you will find the Centre's answers to the 2003 Cambridgeshire LEA questions. Note that you should discuss your booking with the Bookings Secretary if your group has a significant number of disabled people (so we can ensure that we have the right staff in place), or if everyone is the same size (e.g. all very small, or very big) so that we can check that we have enough equipment of the correct size for your group.
Directions and small printDetails on how to find the Centre are given on the directions page. |
