Open Practice

Welcome to the 2009/10 snowsport season. We have extended our open practice times, you can now ski or board nearly every Wednesday and Sunday between September and July. This season you can also ski or board on Thursday mornings until April.

If you can complete linked snowplough turns, you are welcome to try the facilities at Bassingbourn Snowsports Centre on Sundays. Just contact our Bookings Office for a vehicle pass. Open practice is also available to boarders, if you reach the minimum standard of "falling leaf", and providing you can fit the equipment yourself.

A non-members Thursday morning or Sunday lift pass costs £15 per person.

  • There are a few times when the slope is not available for Open Practice on these days - for example for major maintenance and for the ERSA Summer League race.
  • In addition, the Club Championships take place on one of the Saturdays in Spring - which all Members are welcome, and encouraged, to participate in.
  • There are no open practice sessions during August.
